Why we do what we do.

Deforestation is a major problem affecting our planet. Every year, 15 billion trees are cut down, and the world has lost one-third of its forests. But we can make a difference. Planting trees can help combat deforestation, and provide many social, economic, and environmental benefits.

Forests play a critical role in regulating the water cycle, which is essential for life on earth. By controlling precipitation, evaporation, and flows, forests help to manage the amount and distribution of water, and can even reduce the impact of floods from storms. In addition, trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

The benefits of planting trees go beyond environmental impact. Trees also provide habitat for wildlife, improve soil health, and can provide wood for fuel and construction. By planting trees, we can contribute to a more sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.

What we do.

We are planting trees to offset deforestation and we're doing it to create a better future for everyone on the planet. Our project has a positive impact on the environment and the local community. For example, we replanted an area that was ravaged by a fire, helping to restore the ecosystem and support local beekeepers who lost hives.

What we want to do.

We have moved into our 4th year of our reforestation project. This year, by December 2024 we hope to have planted over 20,000 trees in our local community, if not more.  We grow and propagate a variety of trees and bamboos and donate these trees to our local community and beyond.  We also help to plant these trees where needed.

Our project is not your typical monoculture reforestation effort. We are taking a longer path. We focus on growing the natural species of trees in the area, along with supportive plants. To create these trees we have to collect the seeds and cuttings and grow the trees ourselves.

Together, we are.

We believe that collaboration and community involvement are key to the success of our project. That's why we're inviting you to be a part of the process. We want to work with you to create something that truly benefits our planet and our community. Together, we can make a real difference and create a more sustainable future for generations to come.

if you are interested in being part of this project we want to hear from you.

If you would like to donate - we need funds to purchase supplies that would make it easier to plant trees in the field.  Specifically, Shovels designed for tree planting and bags to carry the little trees.  Also funds for gas to help pay our transportation costs to reach the areas we plant in.
